Here’s a recap from Tuesday night’s boys and girls high school basketball action:

Girls Basketball

Lady War Eagles stymie Eisenhower

Senior guard Kelsey Scibek scored a game-high 21 points to lead the Oak Ridge Lady War Eagles to a dominating 68-39 win at home Tuesday night.

Oak Ridge (3-5) used a pressing defense in the first half to force turnovers and limit Eisenhower to just 14 points in the first half.

The Lady War Eagles will travel to Katy to compete in the Katy ISD Tournament beginning Thursday, December 4.

Spring too much for Lady Highlanders

The Lady Highlanders shot just 27 percent from the floor in a 47-33 loss at home to Spring Tuesday night.

The young Lady Highlanders were within striking distance, however a late run by Spring in the fourth quarter was too much to overcome.

Payton Walker and Aaliayah Weatfall scored seven points, respectively to lead The Woodlands (3-7).

Boys Basketball

Second-half dooms Oak Ridge

Oak Ridge was outscored 41-17 in the second half as Aldine Davis defeated the War Eagles 76-41 Tuesday night.

Senior forward Alex Hammonds led the War Eagles (4-4) with 12 points.

Oak Ridge will travel to Alief Hastings on Saturday, December 6, at 2:30pm.

College Park falls at C.E. King

College Park had a valant effort on the road, but came up just short dropping a 67-58 decision to state-ranked C.E. King on the road Tuesday night.

Chandler Morris scored 15 points in the loss to lead College Park (4-4).

The Cavaliers will travel to Georgetown to compete in the annual Jack Frost Tournament this weekend.
