Sci://Tech Exposition Day took place Saturday, January 31

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - The 2015 Sci://Tech Exposition Day took place Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Lone Star Convention and Expo Center in Conroe, Texas. Sci://Tech is organized by the Education for Tomorrow Alliance (EfTA), and is one of the largest science and technology fairs in the nation with events spanning four weekends.

As part of Exposition Day, Conroe ISD elementary schools hosted interactive booths where students were able to share their enthusiasm for discovery. Those present also had the opportunity to watch students and student teams participate in the Junior High Science Bowl, Math Bowl, a robotics demonstration, SciApps, Sci.Math.e.Lon, and SciStory in which they shared their knowledge in science, technology, engineering, and math. Senior High Science Fair first place winners were recognized at an awards ceremony held during the afternoon. U.S. Representative Kevin Brady and State Representative Mark Keough congratulated winners along with Conroe ISD Superintendent Dr. Don Stockton.

The Exposition Day was preceded by the Senior High Science Bowl, Technical Writing Competition, and the Junior and Senior High Science Fairs. Still to come for Sci://Tech 2015 are the Biotechnology Competition and Junior High Engineering Design Competition on February 7, 2015 and the Senior High Engineering Design Competition on February 14, 2015.
