THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Passengers on The Woodlands Express, the daily commuter bus service to Houston, are starting to see some changes at the park and ride facilities. The Woodlands Township has revised the route maps and schedules to the destinations in Houston with colorful maps and schedules to provide a user-friendly way to get passengers where they’re going on time. The Woodlands Express runs daily Monday through Friday to destinations in Houston, including downtown, the Texas Medical Center and Greenway Plaza. It is generally recognized as one of the best-performing park and ride services in the country.

The new, large scale maps are mounted at each park and ride terminal with the associated schedules to make trip planning easier for commuters. Small-scale versions of each are already available for download on the Township’s website at www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/transportation.

“It’s all about making it easy to use the system,” said The Woodlands Township Transit Manager Chris LaRue. “We’re working hard to make improvements, and we’re very excited about what the future will bring.”

The Township would like to hear from passengers, or potential passengers, about any suggestions they may have regarding the operations.
