2015 WineFest Fundraiser to benefit Montgomery County Women’s Center

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - The ever popular “after business hours” event “WineFest” will be held on Thursday, May 14 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Macy’s Furniture Gallery at The Woodlands Mall.

Fine wine tastings and delicious samples of signature dishes from local restaurants are sure to corral guests as they enjoy this year’s festive theme “Boots, Bottles & Bling” thanks to the creative planning by Ally Seder, of Mike Seder, ReMax The Woodlands/Spring, who has chaired the event for the last three years.

In its 14th year, this popular casual after-hours WineFest event is the main annual fundraiser for the Montgomery County Women’s Center, which provides safe shelter, crisis intervention, counseling, legal and support services to victims/survivors of family violence, sexual assault, stalking and abuse.

Cal and Teri Remsburg with Chameleon Distributors will provide the wine tastings for WineFest from various small allocation boutique wineries. The round-up of restaurants will include Crú Food and Wine Bar, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Kirby’s Prime Steakhouse, Kroger, La Trattoria Tuscano, lawrence+leblanc catering, Local Pour, Nothing Bundt Cakes, The Red Brick Tavern, The Refuge Bar & Bistro, and Via Emilia Italian Restaurant.

Unique to this event is a fun Wine Pull (back by popular demand!) in which guests blindly pull a bottle of wine, a raffle with fabulous prizes, as well as the opportunity to shop at the “MarketPlace of Dreams” for goods and services needed by the Women’s Center’s clients and shelter.

This year’s major sponsors include Macy’s Furniture Gallery (which has hosted the event since its beginning in 2001), Pyramid Tubular Products, L.P., Great American Title Company, Hand & Stone Massage & Facial Spa, and Mike Seder - ReMax The Woodlands/Spring. Other sponsors include Anadarko, Community Impact Newspaper, Jason Higham - Cherry Creek Mortgage, Precision Printing, Shane and Becky Bayless, The Signorelli Company, The Struble Family, and The Woodlands Mall.
