THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The Woodlands Children’s Museum is doubling the fun for its New Year’s party designed specifically with little ones in mind.

High Noon Countdown Squared features two celebrations on Dec. 31

High Noon Countdown Squared offers two chances to ring in the New Year on Thursday, Dec. 31 – with separate balloon and confetti drops – one at the stroke of noon and another at 3 p.m. The festivities will also include games, art projects and Bubble Wrap Dancing.

The first event begins at 10 a.m. and goes until noon, with the second fete beginning at 1 p.m. and lasting until 3 p.m.

The museum, located at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280 in The Woodlands, will close at 3 p.m. after the event. Admission to the event is $5 per person.

The museum has switched up the festivities this year by adding “Music, Magic and More.” Longtime favorite children’s musician AndyRoo and the Andy Rooniverse will emcee and usher the crowd into the New Year, while local magician David Rangel will dazzle with magic.

These two performers have been touring the country, winning awards and amazing audiences from coast to coast with a one-of-a-kind experience.

“We can’t wait to bring their interactive musical and magical performances to the stage at the museum,” Angela Colton, executive director of The Woodlands Children’s Museum, said. “Start the New Year off on the right foot – with creative play and fun festivities. We hope the community joins us for one of our favorite annual events and discovers all that the museum has to offer.”

The party is being sponsored by America’s ER Medical Centers, which is located at 32784 FM 2978 at Research Forest in Magnolia. Founded by Dr. Mark A. Feanny, the center offers the same treatment capabilities and experienced doctors as hospital-based emergency rooms.

The Woodlands Children’s Museum has a calendar full of fun activities planned for the year ahead, as well as a number of workshops for children ages 4 through 8. To learn more, visit woodlandschildrensmuseum.org or call 281-465-0955.
