Author of 'Tooth Collector Fairies' to greet children at Igi Playground in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – On Sunday, February 28, area children will be able to meet Denise Ditto, author of the acclaimed children’s book series “The Tooth Collector Fairies,” at Igi Playground, located at 3759 FM 1488 at Kuykendahl.

At the event, while takes place from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m., Ms. Ditto will be on hand to autograph purchased copies of her latest book, “Batina’s Best First Day.” Children will be able to get their photos taken with Crown Mistress Molar, one of the characters in the book brought to life for the event.

Additionally, Kim Feuquay, DDS, of Alden Bridge Pediatric Dentistry, will be at the event to pass out gifts to children and educate them on the importance of dental hygiene.

Igi Playground is the newest indoor play center for children to hit The Woodlands area. Pronounced “Iggy,” the play area looks like a two-level pirate ship, with fun slides, ball pit, epic tunnels and trampolines, cool obstacles, amazing zip line, sweet candy bar and a fantastic maze. The facilities also include private party rooms with video conferencing, crafts, a healthy snack bar, and even a frozen yogurt bar.

All-day tickets are $14.99 per child, with group discounts. Membership prices and party packages are also available. Igi not only entertains children from age infant to 13, but it also educates them in nature, wildlife, humanity and endangered animals. 10% of the company’s profits are dedicated to provide education to children living in poverty-ridden countries, as well as awareness for and assistance to endangered animals.
