Meals on Wheels Montgomery County receives big donations from business leaders

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Two area business leaders – Bob Milner of Mercedes-Benz of The Woodlands and Mark Seavers of Seavers Landscape – recently hosted an upscale dining experience fundraiser, Chef Showcase at Carlton Woods. All of the proceeds from the event, totaling $8,680, benefited Meals on Wheels Montgomery County. A check presentation was recently held at Mercedes-Benz of The Woodlands.

“My staff and board of directors all had a wonderful time at the Chef Showcase event sharing an incredible meal with so many from the community,” said Meals on Wheels Montgomery County director Allison Hulett. “Because of the generosity of our sponsors, Mark Seavers and Bob Milner, the proceeds from this event will enable us to serve 1,736 meals to the homebound elderly.”
