THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Two Township pools have been closed due to outdoor-use water restrictions in effect for the Creekside Park area of The Woodlands served by MUD 386. Due to the recent flooding rains, MUD 386 that serves The Village of Creekside Park and May Valley area of The Woodlands Township suffered loss of one of its water plants and has issued mandatory outdoor-use water restrictions. The restrictions affect two of the Township’s pools: Rob Fleming Aquatic Center and Wendtwoods Pool, both of which will remain closed until MUD 386 is able to lift its restrictions. In addition, spraygrounds in the Village and May Valley will be closed due to the restrictions.

The remaining Township pools were scheduled to open Friday for the daily summer swim season, however The Woodlands Township has postponed its regular season opening from Friday, June 3, to Saturday, June 4, 2016, weather permitting.
