CONROE, Texas -- After a heated discussion over the direction of the Montgomery County Animal Shelter occurred between Precinct 3 Commissioner James Noack and Precinct 4 Commissioner Jim Clark, the two agreed to bury the hatchet and join forces to continue moving the shelter forward.

“We are just two passionate human beings that want the animal shelter to be a best in class shelter,” Noack said.

“If we do not occasionally disagree then we are not doing our jobs,” Clark said.

Commissioner Noack and Commissioner Clark made peace behind closed doors prior to executive session, minutes after their public dispute. The commissioners pledged to increase communication efforts and will jointly propose a formal 30 day plan to improve the animal shelter at the next court session.

“If we can reconcile our differences for the betterment of the shelter, so can the shelter volunteers, fosters, and rescues,” said Clark and Noack. “This is a community effort and we must come together for the animals.”
