MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -- Natalie Noack will be recognized as the honoree at the 9th annual “Tea on the Lawn” set for Friday, April 28, 2017 to benefit New Danville, a master-planned community in Willis, Texas for adults with special needs such as the Autism Spectrum, brain injuries and many of the over 100 disabilities.

"We are proud to announce Natalie Noack as this year’s honoree,” said Kathy Sanders, President and Founder of New Danville. “She is being recognized for her service as event chair in 2013, which was a significant year. Under Natalie's leadership, creatively and tenacity, we had for the first time reached an attendance of more than 300 guests. She was instrumental in securing our first guest speaker, Ms. Joanne King Herring who was portrayed by actress Julia Roberts in the major motion picture ‘Charlie Wilson's War.’ No stranger to community service, Natalie is very creative and she worked tirelessly to ensure the tremendous success for that attendance-breaking year. She is very deserving of this tribute.”

“I am thrilled to be honored at the 9th annual Tea on the Lawn,” said Noack. “Chairing the event during its fifth anniversary was so rewarding as there were many firsts that year that resulted in an important turning point. It was the first time to have not only one but two celebrities. In addition to keynote speaker Joanne King Herring we had music performed by two-time Grammy nominee Sarah Kelly. We also had the first kick-off party and VIP party for premier sponsors. As a result, we doubled attendance over the previous year and for the first time sold out tickets with still one month to go before the event. I was blessed to have a wonderful committee to work with that year.”

Noack continued, “New Danville is so amazing to me. It is the camaraderie among peers, the skilled learning environment, and positive encouragement that promotes the confidence and newfound independence in the individuals served by New Danville. The the growing support and attendance each year at this event truly speaks volumes to the admiration and love we all have for this wonderful community.”

This year’s “Tea on the Lawn” will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Lone Star Convention Center at 9055 Airport Road in Conroe, Texas. The Marketplace opens at 10 a.m. and the tea luncheon begins as 12 p.m.

As tradition has it, guests will don their finest hats and lovely frocks. Prior to the sit-down luncheon at noon, genteel ladies will enjoy sipping light libations while browsing through the Marketplace of New Danville clients’ unique hand-crafted products which include original works of art, luscious bath & body products, potted flowers, distinctive writing pens, stately birdhouses, whimsical wind chimes, inspirational mosaic crosses, and fine food products.

This year’s event is expected to attract up to 700 guests. Richie’s Specialty Pharmacy has generously returned as the Presenting Sponsor of “Tea on the Lawn” and radio celebrity Dana Tyson of Sunny 99.1 will serve again as Emcee.

Proceeds raised by “Tea On The Lawn” help to provide vital funds for New Danville’s Life Enrichment and JOBS programs. Table underwriting levels range from $300 to $10,000. Sponsorships range from $750 to $50,000.
