THE WOODLANDS, Texas-- After getting some field time this past week, The Woodlands are ready to take the field again and play a big game on Saturday against Katy high school.

In last year’s meeting between the two teams The Woodlands won in dominating fashion with a score of 26-3.

This is the biggest game all year for CISD football and for good reason. Both teams are ranked very high in the state of Texas. Returners such as Kesean Carter for The Woodlands will be the key in this game for The Highlanders. Quinn Binney will be under center for The Woodlands and after an impressive performance at their scrimmage this past weekend, Binney will have to do the same against a tough Katy team.

Katy comes in with one of the best talents in the area, running back Deondrick Glass. This will be the first official game for the Katy Tigers and they are hungry to redeem last year’s loss to The Highlanders.

The defense for The Highlanders will be the key in this one. If The Woodlands can keep Glass contained they have a good chance to win but either way this game will be entertaining from start to finish.

These two teams will go to battle at 6pm on September 16th at Legacy Stadium in Katy and this will mark as one of the best games of the season.
