Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center to open mid-November
THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Woodlands Township invites residents and visitors alike to enjoy The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center, presented this year by Sewell. The Ice Rink will open daily Saturday, November 18, 2017 through Monday, January 15, 2018.
“Celebrating Christmas and the holiday season with the communities and customers we serve is an important tradition for Sewell,” said Chris Childs, general manager at the Sewell Audi North Houston dealership. “The indoor ice skating rink provides great fun for the entire family, and we are proud to partner with The Woodlands to offer this tradition to residents and visitors this holiday season.”
Township Director of Parks and Recreation Chris Nunes also enjoys the versatility of the new permanent venue. “We now have a 21,000-square-foot multipurpose facility where we can offer great lighting, sound, tables and concessions, which makes it a great place for parties as well.”
The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center is located at 2005 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands, 77380, near the north gate entry of The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion and the intersection of Lake Robbins Drive and Six Pines Drive.
Hours of operation are Monday to Thursday from 3 to 9 p.m., Friday from 3 to 11 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 7 p.m. The Ice Rink is open during special holiday hours on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day and school holidays (based on the Conroe ISD calendar).
Weekend admission, Friday to Sunday and school holidays, for a two-hour skate session is $12.50 for adults and $6 for children 5 and under. Weekday admission, Monday to Thursday, for a two-hour skate session is $10.50 for adults and $5 for children 5 and under. All prices include skate rental. Helmet and walker (children’s skate trainer) rentals are also available.
