THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Woodlands Christian Academy prekindergarten students traveled to P-6 Farms in Montgomery, Texas. The students enjoyed a variety of learning experiences on the farm including a hayride, observing pumpkins growing, and a huge corn maze. Students also learned about farming and all the equipment required to keep the farm running smoothly.

The trip to P-6 Farms is one of several field trips students will participate in throughout school year. Traveling beyond the walls of the school for opportunities that make classroom lessons relevant, meaningful and memorable, is an important part of a Warrior education.

Axis Presentation

Middle school and high school students at The Woodlands Christian Academy recently participated in a special presentation by Axis. Axis endeavors to empower the next generation to think clearly and critically about what they believe and to take ownership of their faith. The informational sessions were followed by breakout group discussions among the students.

Since 2007, Axis has spoken to over 120,000 students, teachers, and parents at schools and churches throughout North America, engaging their audiences and helping them to realize the impact pop culture and the media have on how they view the world.

The AXIS Culture Translator, a free weekly newsletter available on the Axis website, is designed to help parents gain insight into how pop culture, technology, and media are influencing their children.
