Montgomery County libraries kick off Toys for Tots campaign

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -- Montgomery County Library System (MCMLS) kicked-off the holiday gift giving season with the Montgomery County Toys for Tots on Thursday, November 9, 2017 in the Central Library, located at 104 I-45 North in Conroe.

This year marks the 70 th anniversary for Toys for Tots, a nonprofit organization founded in 1947 to provide new, unwrapped gifts to children in need. With many local families affected by Hurricane Harvey this year, the need is even greater than usual in Montgomery County.

Toy donations will be collected at each of the 7 branches of MCMLS until Saturday, December 15, 2017. Donors can also provide a monetary donation at the Toys for Tots website in lieu of gifts.
