THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Dynamo/Dash Youth Soccer Club recently presented iGo Pink with a check for $7,500.

“It is very gratifying to work with these exceptional young female soccer players who excel on the field and make a difference off the field," said Nick O'Shea, Girls Development Academy director. "I am so proud they have been able to make a significant donation to iGoPink and raise awareness of Breast Cancer to all our membership. Natalie Olivarez and Andy Squire did a fantastic job organizing the project and I am sure US Soccer will be happy to see how the top female players in Houston continue to shine.”

The club’s Breast Cancer Awareness Program, sponsored by Hunter Orthodontics, wrapped up another great campaign and presented the check at Bear Branch soccer complex on Nov. 13. The program again was led by the Girls Development Academy to show support for this very worthy cause.

“iGoPink/The Breast Cancer Charities of America is honored for a second year in a row to partner with the Dynamo Dash and their ‘pink out’ initiative to help women going through breast cancer," said Erica A. Johnson, founder and executive director of iGoPink/The Breast Cancer Charities of America. "The passion of the youth, their parents and the coaches is simply phenomenal and the funds they raised will significantly help the programs we provide to cancer patients."

A donation was also made to the DDY Disaster Relief Fund to help families that were impacted by Hurricane Harvey.

“What a great night," said Dr. Ross Hunter of Hunter Orthodontics. "I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of the Breast Cancer Awareness Program / Disaster Relief Assistance. Thank you to the Girls Development Academy Program and the entire Dynamo/Dash Youth Soccer Club for organizing this great program.”
