Author Paula Hawkins hooks hundreds of readers at John Cooper event in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- More than 675 people attended The John Cooper School 13th Annual Signatures Author Series, featuring bestselling author Paula Hawkins (The Girl on the Train, and Into the Water).

The event also featured 22 local authors: Tracy Borgmeyer, Gabriel Garcia, Sylvia Casares, Angelia J. Griffin, Dr. Anthony J. Harris, Zoey Hess, Kathryn Lane, Mary Kay Leatherman, Denise Liotta-Dennis, Curt Locklear, Sharla Lovelace, Joy Oguchi, Stacey A. Purcell, Gigi Siton, Amy Suliano Cox, Valerie Sweeten, Kate M. Walker, Molly and Gary Whitney, Belle Whittington, Alexis Wiggins, Lynn Wilson and Cheryl Winter.

Funds raised from the event will go to the Montgomery County Memorial Library System and The Barbara Bush Branch Library.
