The Woodlands Children's Museum welcomes Monty the Magician Dec. 27
THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Monty the Magician will bring his child-friendly show to The Woodlands Children’s Museum on Wednesday, Dec. 27, when he presents four 20-minute performances.
Monty’s shows will take place at 10:45 a.m., noon, 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280.
“Monty always is a hit when he performs here,” said Angela Colton, executive director of the museum. “He once told me that he was inspired to become a magician while watching a magic show as a boy. It’s evident when you see him on stage that he’s developed a real talent for instilling the same sense of wonder he must have experienced as a child in his young audiences today.”
During his 26-year career, Monty has performed countless shows at schools, churches, day care centers and birthday parties.
His “MAGIC that Makes You Smile” show, specially created for children in pre-kindergarten through second grade, is loaded with comedy, and Monty frequently encourages his audience members to participate.
Monty the Magician’s performances are included in the museum’s regular $6 admission price for children age 1 and older.
The Woodlands Children’s Museum is recommended for ages 7 and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
