The Woodlands, Texas -- From archery to romance, here's a look at what's going on this week in The Woodlands.

Want to shoot a bow and arrow? Here's a safe way to do it – and it's also in 3D. Head over to Saddle River Range, 4280 FM 1488, Monday Feb. 5 at 6 p.m. for 3D Archery. You'll be assigned a lane, and as you progress, you'll advance through a fun and challenging course.

If holding a paint brush is more your style, visit Painting with a Twist, 570 Sawdust, Tuesday Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. for Bluebonnet Sunset. Fun instructors will show you step-by-step how to paint a beautiful work of art that you'll be proud to take home. Painting with a Twist provides paint, brushes, canvas and aprons.

Ready for some weekend fun? Dosey Doe-The Big Barn combines dining and live music under one roof. Check it out Friday Feb. 9 as John Anderson – said to be one of the most recognizable vocal artists in the history of country music – steps up to the mic. Dinner is served from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. The concert begins at 8:30 p.m. Get your tickets here.

Valentine's Day falls on a Wednesday this year, so you might want to get your romance on the weekend before. Take that special someone to Jeffrey and Company Jewelers, 8522 Creekside Forest, for love songs, champagne, diamonds and gold Saturday Feb. 10. Check out beautiful gems from a second-generation jeweler, while enjoying the music of pianist George Poe, from noon – 4 p.m.

Princesses and their knights in shining armor are invited to attend a ball at VillaSport, 4141 Technology Forest Boulevard, Sunday Feb. 11. The Daddy-Daughter Dance is from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and features a "to the moon and back" setting. Tickets available here.
