Coach Brent Landrum: We needed a week with just two games. It allowed us to get healthy and to throw a lot of pitchers, even though they didn’t go very long. The bats came around a little this week and the defense was solid. This next week will be a big week for us with two conference games over the weekend plus a mid-week affair with Ft. Bend Christian. Hopefully, we have a good week and start playing great ball down the stretch.

Coach Nicole Hedden: It was a tough loss against Episcopal High School on Friday, but we know where we need to be for the SPC tournament. We have a big game this Friday against Kinkaid, so we have a lot of work this week. Kinkaid is going to be out for us after beating them last year.
