Play With Purpose Sports receives Gatorade Play It Forward grant

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -- Play With Purpose Sports is hosting a Leaders in Sports event to honor athletes that have raised thousands of dollars for children less fortunate. In addition to this, these athletes have been hands-on in doing shoe drives, feeding Hurricane Harvey Victims, and brightening the days of children with cancer by Christmas gift baskets.

Quentin Grimes, student athlete and Gatorade Player of the Year will also present Play With Purpose Sports the Gatorade Play It Forward Grant. Quentin will be sharing with athletes 'The top five disciplines that will help athletes achieve beyond the ordinary.'

Gatorade Play It Forward empowers every one of the Gatorade Player of the Year recipients’ to award a $1,000 grant from Gatorade to a community organization that helps young athletes reap the benefits of sports.

College Park freshman, Hudson Boyd and Co-Founder of Play With Purpose Sports will be speaking about youth leadership and he and Quentin will be presenting 'Youth Leadership' awards to athletes.
