Montgomery County cops identify indecent exposure suspect; warrant issued for registered sex offender

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -- On May 24, 2018, law enforcement released images of an individual responsible for multiple incidents of indecent exposure in Montgomery County as well as Harris County. Thanks to our amazing citizens as well as the work of Detectives at Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Oak Ridge Police Department and Shenandoah Police Department we have been able to identify the indecent exposure suspect as, Steven Dale Brazeal 09-15-61.

Mr. Brazeal is wanted through the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Shenandoah Police Department and Oak Ridge Police Department on indecent exposure.

During the investigation, Detectives working with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Sex Offender Registration Unit learned that Mr. Brazeal is a lifetime registered sex offender in Oklahoma. Detectives also learned that Mr. Brazeal has a history of indecent exposure from Oklahoma. Mr. Brazeal was arrested on May 23, 2018, for failure to register as a sex offender by the Tulsa Police Department, but was able to bond out.

Due to the deviant acts Mr. Brazeal continues to commit, three warrants have been issued for his arrest for indecent exposure. The Tulsa Police Department is assisting the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in locating Mr. Brazeal.
