THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Congratulations to Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center nurse Silvia Alexatos, RN from Patient Care Unit 5 who earned the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses last month.

Founded in 1999, The DAISY Award honors and celebrates nurses who provide extraordinary, compassionate and skillful care every day. Nominations are submitted by patients, families and colleagues and the winner is selected by a special committee.
