The Woodlands Township seeking volunteers for upcoming events

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department is hosting numerous events throughout the fall and winter months, requiring the help of many volunteers. These events are a great opportunity to get involved with the community while helping to make Township programs a success.

Upcoming volunteer opportunities:


Creekside Camp-Out: October 6-7, 2018; December 1-2, 2018

The Haunted Trail “The Psycho Path”: Fridays and Saturdays in October starting on October 12, 2018

Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas: October 13, 2018

Holiday Events: Various Dates

Daddy Daughter Dinner Dance: February 16, 2019

The Haunted Trail is held at Bear Branch Park on Fridays and Saturdays in October, beginning on Friday, October 12, 2018, and ending on Saturday, October 27, 2018. Volunteer positions include scary scene actors, trail tour guides and survey takers.

Additional volunteer opportunities include Creekside Camp-Out, a family camping experience at The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park, the Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas race series, holiday events and the Daddy Daughter Dinner Dance.
