84-year-old Spring resident found floating in Lake Conroe

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -- On October 2nd, at 430pm, the Precinct 1 Constables Office received a call about a possible deceased male floating in Lake Conroe. Witnesses who live in the White Oak Subdivision, advised that around mid-morning they observed a white male anchoring his boat in the area.

Witnesses further stated that periodically throughout the day, the gentleman would be either on the boat or in the water.

Around 4:30pm, witnesses observed the male floating face down in the water. After several attempts to get the males attention, 911 was called and the Precinct 1 Constables Office Lake Division, ESD 1 - Fire Boat 94 and The Montgomery County Hospital District - Medic 13 arrived on location to find the male deceased in the water.

Justice of the Peace Mack was called to the scene for an inquest and then ordered an autopsy. The investigation is continuing and the cause death has not yet been determined; there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances in this death.

The victim was identified as Leo D. Tullier, W/M, 84 yoa from Spring Texas.
