City of Shenandoah Police Calls and Activity




Driving While Intoxicated – 1000 block of Research Forest – A traffic stop was conducted and subsequent investigation led to a suspect being arrested for DWI.

Aggravated Assault – 18300 block of IH45 – Victim shot by known suspect. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the suspect.

Narcotics – 18300 block of IH45 - A traffic stop was conducted and subsequent investigation led to a suspect being arrested for possession of methamphetamine.

Fraud – 18200 block of IH45 – A suspect attempted to use the victim’s prescription card. The suspect was arrested and charged with fraudulent use of identifying information.

Death Investigation – 100 block of Vision Park – Natural death.

Hit and Run Accident – 18300 block of IH45 – A white Dodge truck hit a Honda parked in a parking lot.



Significant Outside Agency Calls


Burglary of a Building – 1500 block of Rayford – Suspects shattered the front door glass of Boost Mobile and stole numerous items. Suspects were observed fleeing the scene; a citizen followed and dialed 911. After a long pursuit, all 3 suspects were apprehended.

Aggravated Robbery – 17000 block of IH45 – suspect robbed front desk clerk of hotel and was still on location when law enforcement arrived on scene. Suspect arrested.
