The 'Black Star of Texas'

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Regal Jewelers was honored to spotlight a true star Nov. 15 at the American Heart Association's 6th Annual Bartender Shootout and Christmas Tree Auction in The Woodlands.

The "Black Star of Texas" is a 41-carat black diamond pendant. Black diamonds are rare. In fact, based on the presence of hydrogen in the diamonds, geologists believe black diamonds come from interstellar space.
