Kendra Scott is known for fashion and accessories – most notably beautiful jewelry – but she's also a philanthropist. In fact, her first business was inspired by a loved one's battle with brain cancer. She continues to give back to various causes, and in this case, it's the NICU at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center. Shop at the Kendra Scott Gives Back event 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday Nov. 26 at Kendra Scott The Woodlands Market Street, during which 20 percent of proceeds will be donated to the NICU. The Noack Foundation will host its 8th annual Christmas with the Commissioner 5:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 27 at The Woodlands Country Club-Palmer Course. The weather outside will be far from frightful – in fact it will be delightful – for an outdoor concert 7:30 p.m. Thursday Nov. 29 at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. It's time for the annual Holly Jolly Jingle, featuring caroling, performances by local students and everything you could possibly hope for to get into the holiday spirit. And it's free! Gates open at 6 p.m. Click here for more information.

This is one of the most highly anticipated events in the community: The John Cooper School Signatures Author Series, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Friday Nov. 30 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel.
