THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Carlton Woods Women’s Golf Association’s yearly tournament “Chip in for a Cure” recently raised $44,000 for Canopy, a cancer survivorship center at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center. Thanks to Baker Hughes, Anadarko and the event’s other generous sponsors, the donated funds will support programs like art therapy for adults, art therapy for children whose primary caregiver has cancer, various support groups, and providing meals to patients after surgery. For more information on Canopy, visit www.woodlandscanopy.org.
