State Funeral for George H.W. Bush, the 41st President of the United States

WASHINGTON -- Update: Update on 12/5/18 from Magnolia Police Department:

In preparation for the Former President George H.W. Bush train procession, the following roads will be closed tomorrow:
-FM 1774, from Nichols Sawmill to 1488, starting at 1pm. Traffic will be detoured onto Nichols Sawmill. Old Hockley can then be used to connect back to FM 1488.
-Melton St will be closed at 1130.
-Buddy Riley Blvd, at Acker, will be closed at 1130.
We welcome everyone to come out at pay their respects but please do so in a dignified way. We ask that everyone stay at least 25 feet from the train tracks, as to ensure everyone’s safety. If you cannot abide by this 25 foot rule, law enforcement will address the issue. There will also be no parking in the grass, along FM 1774 or Melton St.

Latest on the President Bush funeral train:
The Bush train is leaving Spring at 1, and moving at 28 mph.
Melton Street will be closed at 11:30 am from the Depot to Smith Street.
No one must get any closer than 25 ft. of the train.
No parking on the grass, and please be respectful of private property.
Be cautious crossing the streets – use crosswalks
Free U.S. flags will be available at The Depot.

Base Andrews, Maryland. **

by motorcade to Union Pacific Railroad Westfield Auto Facility, Spring, Texas. President Bush’s remains will
then be transported by funeral car (train) to College Station, Texas. **
