SPRING, Texas -- The Spring Fire Department guard will be located on Main in Old Town Spring to dip the flags as the Presidential train passes through on Thursday.

Spring Tower 70 and Ponderosa Tower 61 will be set up on the northbound feeder road of I-45 over the RR tracks with our large American flag flying between the 2 tower buckets. The flag will stay over the roadway. Both towers will set up in the right lane of the feeder road on the northbound side and have flag flying no later than 12:30.

All SFD crews will be in Class B dress uniforms, and will salute the train as it passes.

Union Pacific Police asked us to have the crews at each crossing help ensure civilians are at least 25 feet back from the tracks.
