THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you from all of us at Woodlands Online. If you're looking for Christmas-related activities, please check out our Holiday Guide here. If you're looking for New Year's Eve-related fun, please visit our Events calendar here. For in between? Check out our Top 5 Things to Do This Week in The Woodlands.

Ready to find something fun for the kids to do? We got you. VillaSport is offering day camps for the week, including Winter Wonderland 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Thursday Dec. 27. Swimming, crafts and skill-based games are on the list of activities. You can sign up here.

A whisper in The Woodlands sounds like a nice, calming way to relax after the frenzy of the holidays. You'll get that 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Friday Dec. 28 at Painting With a Twist with "Whisper Woods." They provide the paint, brushes, canvass, aprons, instructor and even cups should you desire to bring along your own adult beverage (for 21 and older, of course.) Reserve your spot here.

If you haven't been to Over the Top Cake Supplies yet, make your way posthaste. The staff there make cake-baking so much fun, even if you're totally new to measuring cups. What better way to try it out than creating a gravity-defying New Year's Eve Cake? Check it out 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Saturday Dec. 29. Each student will complete a two-layer, 5-inch cake with fondant, buttercream and suspending sparkling cider bubbles. Reserve your spot here.

Like Santa, this comes just once a year: It's the Ice Rink at Woodlands Town Center, and it's only open until January. If you are looking for more ways to entertain visiting family or keep the kids busy, this is the perfect time. Open noon – 7 p.m. Sunday Dec. 30, the ice rink is 21,000-square feet of lighting, music and concessions. Check it out at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion multi-purpose facility located at the corner of Lake Robbins and Six Pines.

The Woodlands Children's Museum has something to keep the little ones busy as the countdown to 2019 begins. Join them Monday Dec. 31 for creative art projects, music, a juggler and more! There are three sessions to best accommodate your kiddo's schedule: 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Cost is admission to the museum, which is $8 for nonmembers, $4 for members.
