Pipe Bomb Found in Willis Rendered Safe by Montgomery County Fire Marshalls - Investigation Still Ongoing

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -- So far today, MCFMO personnel have rendered safe a pipe bomb east of Willis and are working two different residential fire investigations, capping off another busy week.

They have already conducted a dozen investigations into fires and explosions since Monday that led to 5 injuries. They also made 3 felony arrests in separate investigations for charges ranging from Arson to Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Pct.1 personnel observed the pipe bomb lying on the side of County Line Road and notified Constable Phillip Cash, who requested the MCFMO Bomb Squad.
