Texas Department of Transportation Holds Public Hearing on Statewide Transportation Improvement Program

AUSTIN, Texas -- The purpose of the Public Hearing is to gather public input on the February 2019 Quarterly Revisions to the 2019-2022 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). Comments must be received on or before March 4, 2019 to be a part of the official hearing record.

The Statewide Transportation Improvement Program:


Reflects the federally funded transportation projects in the FY 2019-2022 Transportation Improvement Programs (TIPs) for each Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) in the state.

Includes both state and federally funded projects for the non-attainment areas of Dallas-Fort Worth, El Paso, and Houston and San Antonio.

Contains information on federally funded projects in rural areas that are not included in any MPO area, and other statewide programs as listed.

TxDOT makes every reasonable effort to accommodate the needs of the public. The open house will be in English.
