SHENANDOAH, Texas -- Police Blotter for January 14-20 City of Shenandoah Police Calls and Activity

Driving While Intoxicated – 18400 block of IH45 – Officers were dispatched to a welfare check. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of a suspect for DWI.
Theft – 18100 block of IH45 – Suspect arrested for theft of over $2500.00 worth of merchandise.
Found Property – A wallet located at Sam Moon Center was turned in at the Police Station.
Criminal Trespass – Residential – A wallet, located in a vehicle, was not supposed to be there. It is possible that someone entered the vehicle and accidentally dropped their wallet.
Theft – 19000 block of IH45 – Unknown suspect stole approximately $98.00 worth of merchandise.
Recovery of Stolen Handgun – 18500 block of IH45 - A handgun, stolen out of Montgomery County, was located along IH45 and recovered.
Terroristic Threat – Residential – Known suspect threatened bodily harm to victim.
Burglary of a Building – 19000 block of IH45 – Unknown suspect used a crow bar to enter a closed business and to steal over $14,000.00 worth of designer purses.
Theft – 19100 block of IH45 – One known and one unknown suspect stole approximately $2000.00 worth of merchandise.
Driving While Intoxicated – 900 block of Medical Plaza – Officer conducted a traffic stop. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of a suspect for DWI.

Significant Outside Agency Calls

Criminal Mischief – 24000 block of Richards Rd – Unknown suspect(s) shooting out windows and throwing objects through random windows throughout the night.
Aggravated Robbery - Walgreens off College Park - Suspect passed a note to the pharmacy clerk and displayed a long rifle. WM suspect fled on foot in the direction of College Park High School. Suspect was later found after a perimeter search. Several agencies involved.
Burglary of Motor Vehicle – Multiple BMVs reported, as usual. Please remember to lock, take, and hide.
Robbery – Rayford Road – Limited details.
