Advocate for Your Business at Montgomery County Day at the Capitol February 25-26, 2019

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce invites business leaders to join The Montgomery County Council of Chambers in Austin February 25-26, 2019, for Montgomery County Day at the Capitol presented by Entergy Texas Inc.

“The Montgomery County Day at the Capitol brings together business leaders and government officials to talk face-to-face and participate in a variety of educational and networking events,” J.J. Hollie, president of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce, said. “This is a terrific opportunity to speak directly to elected officials and to learn about the current business climate in Texas.”

This premier summit includes a legislative reception from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Monday, February 25, providing sponsors and business leaders with a networking opportunity. Other highlights include breakfast and luncheon with elected officials, including Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar and Texas House of Representatives Speaker Dennis Bonnen, and recognition of the Montgomery County Council of Chambers on both the House and Senate floors on Tuesday, February 26.

Additionally, participants can use this time to visit committee hearings, set other meetings in and around the Capitol and invite their Austin-area friends and associates to meet peers from Montgomery County.

The registration fee for the legislative reception on February 25 is $25 and the fee for the breakfast and lunch events on February 26 is $50.

Volunteer leaders are a vital aspect of the event. The Montgomery County Day at the Capitol leadership team includes Linda Nelson of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center, Melissa Bochat of Entergy Texas Inc., and Landon Estay of Estay LLC.
