THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- As Woodforest continues to expand, builders are beginning construction on two new model homes while celebrating the opening of eight others.

Westin Homes and Perry Homes have both just started work on model homes showcasing plans for the community’s Bronze Trace neighborhood. The builders are targeting a May opening.

Homes will be built on 60-foot properties with Perry Homes priced from the $370,000s. The more than nearly two dozen floor plans range from 2,500 to 3,800 square feet and feature 12-foot coffered ceilings, walk-in closets in all bedrooms and island kitchens. Westin homes are priced from the $350,000s and feature the builder’s signature triple-tiered rotundas and floor-to-ceiling bay windows.

“We are very much looking forward to seeing the finished homes,” said Virgil Yoakum, Vice President and General Manager of Woodforest. “Both builders are known for their high quality and attention to detail. Buyers are sure to fall in love with them.”

While construction begins on those models, Darling Homes and Taylor Morrison are celebrating the opening of eight new models in Bonterra at Woodforest, the community’s active adult resort-style community.

Darling Homes has opened two models in Bonterra at Woodforest from its Sanctuary Collection. The spacious designs, priced from the $400,000s, are situated on 60-foot homesites and boast expansive open living areas. Flexible options including first floor media rooms and guest suites as well as relaxed refinement features like wine storage grottos and panoramic patios are available.

Taylor Morrison introduced six new models for the three series of home designs offered in the Woodforest enclave. The builder offers 24 single-story floor plans priced from the low $230,000s in Bonterra at Woodforest. Homes feature open-concept living areas, two and three bedrooms, and numerous options that allow for a second story, additional garage bay, extended outdoor living and more.

The new models and home offerings complement a number of new amenities that opened last year including the all-inclusive Wallaroo Park and the urban-inspired Kingsley Park. The community also recently completed enhancements to the Stampede Sportsplex and is working on improvements at the 33-acre Christine Allen Nature Park.
