THE WOODLANDS, Texas – March is just around the corner, and along with that comes a whole bunch of fun including National Dadgum That's Good Day, National Employee Appreciation Day, National Banana Cream Pie Day and more. Celebrate those days on March 1 however you like, but there are plenty of other options happening this week in The Woodlands.

Health officials tell us that what we put into our bodies directly results in the performance of our bodies. That couldn't be more true when eating for two. Learn all the basics of healthy pregnancy eating 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Tuesday Feb. 26 at Nativiti Family Birth Center. In fact, you're invited to the general nutrition class even if you're not pregnant. Free for current pregnant clients and their partner, and $25 for everyone else – pay cash upon arrival.

What do you want to be when you grow up? The answer widely varies depending how old you are, but lots of little kids like to play school, cashier or restaurant. Bring your toddler to check out what 'restaurant' is really like, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Wednesday Feb. 27 at Chick-fil-A Magnolia for 'Team Member for a Day.' Kids will learn how good manners are the secret to making others feel special.

Priorities. Peace and mindfulness. How to say no. Finding time for joy. Easy peasy lemon squeezy, right? Not always. That's why Salt Remedy is hosting a 'Time to Breathe' workshop 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. Thursday Feb. 28. It's to help those who feel overwhelmed, have no energy and/or experience restless sleep. Take a load off with Bad Sneakers Friday March 1 at Dosey Doe The Big Barn

Check out the Texas Wildlife & Woodlands Expo Spring Fling 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday March 2 at Lone Star College-Montgomery.
The free, family friendly event includes experts to answer questions about local wildlife; interactive booths, fitness challenges, 'how to' sessions about ecosystems, and plenty of outdoor activities. This annual event brings in more than 5,000 folks, so clearly it's a winner.
