THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Something as common as fresh flowers or a change of season can literally give some people a headache. Others deal with more severe headaches, some on a weekly or daily basis. Join Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital for an upcoming lecture that will explore the different types of headaches, causes and remedies.

The hospital’s Spring 2019 Lecture Series provides educational opportunities to interact with experts on various issues and hear about the latest treatments using state-of-the-art technology. Meet Dr. Stacy V. Smith, board certified in neurology and headache medicine, on Tuesday, April 9, from Noon – 1 P.M. as she shares valuable information in her talk – ‘Headache 101.’

Smith will discuss common headache disorders, new therapies for migraine and non-pharmaceutical treatments that are helping people get relief from headaches.

Smith’s presentation is part of an on-going lecture series presented by Houston Methodist The Woodlands.

Lunch will be provided.

This event is free and open to the public, however registration is required.
