Driver wanted for hit and run which left officer hurt

HOUSTON, TX -- Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division need the public’s assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a Hit and Run – Failure to Stop and Render Aid.

On Friday, March 15, 2019, at approximately 7:45 p.m., the victim (who is a certified peace officer) was directing traffic in the 1300 block of McNee Road in Houston, Texas. The suspect’s vehicle (a white Ford F-150) was traveling southbound on Kirby drive and turned westbound onto McNee Road. A witness described the driver as a white or Hispanic male and provided a partial license plate number (FCN). The suspect struck the officer with their vehicle and fled the scene without rendering aid. As a result, the victim sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
