THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Township Board of Directors held its regular meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2019, at The Woodlands Township Town Hall, 2801 Technology Forest Boulevard in The Woodlands, Texas.

The Board of Directors took the following actions on the Consent Agenda:

Received Administrative Reports from Township departments.
Approved an Electric Easement for CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC in Restricted Reserve 'C' of The Woodlands Creekside Park West Section 12 and Restricted Reserve 'A' of The Woodlands Creekside Park West Section 9.
Approved an Interlocal Agreement with the San Jacinto River Authority regarding GIS Data Sharing.
The Board of Directors then moved on to take the following actions on the Regular Agenda:

Took no action on Incorporation Planning Study matters.

Deferred a quarterly update from the Development Standards Committee.

Took no action on a discussion regarding a request to The Woodlands Land Development Company for Access Fee information.

Approved a tax abatement agreement between The Woodlands Township, Alight Solutions LLC., and The Woodlands Land Development Company, L.P.

Accepted updates to The Woodlands Township Personnel Policy Manual.

Approved an Interlocal Agreement with Harris County relating to the Maintenance of Non-Standard Elements.

Tabled action on an overview of the pricing and funding structure of the Township’s current transportation programs.

Tabled action on the grant from Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) for a pilot program to the Energy Corridor.

Tabled review of a grant application to the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) for a Park and Ride pilot program route to Springwoods Village and ExxonMobil.

Approved continuation of the six-month pilot program for the 8 a.m. Woodlands Express run from the Sterling Ridge Park and Ride.

Accepted a report on The Woodlands Express Service to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and directed staff to begin to pursue 2020 Rodeo Service.

Approved an amendment to the Trolley Interlocal Agreement with Brazos Transit District.
Deferred action on a resolution supporting the transfer of Brazos Transit District property to The Woodlands Township.
