Ironman: Traffic impact guide, detours, preferred methods of travel

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The IRONMAN is an all-day event, with the professional race starting with the swim portion at 6:25 a.m. at Northshore Park. The Ironman includes the 2.4-mile swim followed by a 112-mile bike ride and then a 26.2-mile run.

For those interested in early voting for the May 4 election at the South County Community Building, located at 2235 Lake Robbins Drive, please note that Lake Robbins Drive will only be accessible from Grogan’s Mill Road. Voters must access the community center building via the main entrance off of Lake Robbins Drive from Grogan’s Mill Road. Motorists are recommended to take Research Forest Drive to southbound Grogan’s Mill, turn left onto Lake Robbins Drive and then enter the Community Center parking lot to access the early voting location.

The polling location will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. It will reopen for the final two days of early voting on Monday, April 29, and Tuesday, April 30, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. For all early voting locations and times, visit Montgomery County Elections Central at https://elections.mctx.org.
