Montgomery County Fire Department Respond to Fatal Fire

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- Around 4:30am this morning East County Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire off Carol Lane (New Caney). While units were enroute, Fire Comm advised responding units that CPR was in progress of an individual removed from the structure by bystanders. Units arrived to a small fire inside the structure and CPR of the individual. After diligent medical interventions by on scene crews, the individual succumbed to their injuries unfortunately. The name of the individual will not be released in this posting nor the address of the incident as this is an active investigation by the Montgomery County Fire Marshals Office and the Montgomery County Sheriffs Office.
