Phil Anderson and Roger Tietze, the franchise owner/partners of Office Evolution of The Woodlands, wanted a place where they could continue their chemical consulting business of 4 years and support professionals in the community through collaboration, learning from other businesses, and sharing services in a hospitality focused office environment.

“We enjoy meeting the different people that operate small businesses in our local community,” expressed Phil. “It’s quite different than the large multi-national corporate world we existed in for over 30 years in the global chemical industry. We offer skills and our business members share their skills with us. We are a growing community of like-minded people”.

Phil and Roger are hosting Lunch and Learn get togethers that will be expanded into the local restaurants in the center as they open and continue to grow. Presently there is Tapped Drafhouse and Kitchen; Noe’s Crepes, Coffee and Tea; World’s Burger; Citizen’s Grill (soon to open), and an Italian restaurant. Their monthly Networking Events offer informal ways to learn from the members and their visitors to enjoy personal interactions and learn from other entrepreneurs. The Marcel Town Center, which has been developed by The Marcel Group, first broke ground in November of last year. The shopping center is approximately 70,000 square feet with room for over 400 parking spaces. Other amenities include Delta Life Fitness, Apricot Lane Boutique, The Adventure Begins Games & Comic Books, Malibu Nail Spa, Woodland Lakes Dental Studio, Xscape Theater and Enclave at Woodland Lakes Apartments.

Phil and Roger both came to the Woodlands in 2005 to work for a major chemical company .Phil was a Product Manager/Compliance Specialist and Roger was an R&D Manager/Applications Expert. Together they have combined experience in 15 patents, 21 product introductions, 4 qualifications of product, 2 major chemical plant expansions, and other auditing experience involving chemicals. They believe that their expertise and experience in R&D, application testing, analytical testing, qualification of products, bringing products to market, and expertise in market evaluation will be beneficial to the entrepreneurs of the Woodlands.
