THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The nearly 200 seniors attending the recent luncheon hosted by Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum (CWJF) were transported back to the 50’s for a lively “Sock Hop.” The attendees of the Lakewood Forum Friends program enjoyed hamburgers, baked beans, chips, and Coke floats. The very popular and talented Grateful Geezers provided a fun atmosphere as many of the seniors danced to the songs of that era.

The Lakewood Forum Friends program is held 6 times throughout the year and is an opportunity for seniors to come together for fellowship and fun.

Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum is an organization of women dedicated to providing volunteer services, leadership and philanthropy to enrich the communities in North Harris and South Montgomery Counties. CWJF partners with agencies, schools and corporations to fulfill identified needs in education, interaction with an aging population and support for people with disabilities.
CWJF is a 501(c) (3) non-profit assistance organization and a recognized chapter of Junior Forum, Inc.
