MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- On May 22, 2019, Constable Rowdy Hayden's Office, in their capacity as members of the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, completed an investigation which spanned nearly five months and resulted in the arrest of a local Montgomery County man for multiple felony counts of Possession of Child Pornography. The case was proactively initiated and was not believed to have a high probability of success due to the anonymity provided to the offender by online identity masking applications.

The Pct. 4 Criminal Investigation Division, understanding the seriousness of the offense and knowing that approximately 76% of Child Porn offenders have admitted to molesting children, refused to give up on the case. With vital cooperation provided through multiple assisting agencies, the investigation was able to identify and apprehend the suspect without incident.

Constable Hayden has a continuing commitment to the protection of the most vulnerable members of our community and in his capacity as Constable has given deputies his full support and resources to pursue these cases and offenders. Constable Hayden stated, “I’m proud of this proactive arrest which has hopefully reduced the likelihood of this child predator making contact with a child. Let this be a warning to others, if you engage in criminal acts such as these, we will do everything in our power to find you and bring you to justice.”

Arrested: Michael Emmons, 41 years of age. Four (4) counts of Third Degree Felony Possession of Child Pornography.
