Traffic stop; leads to arrest for outstanding warrants

SPLENDORA, TX -- A City of Splendora police officer made a traffic stop on a vehicle for displaying expired registration. Contact was made with the driver, who was identified as Vanwinkler, Melissa, as well as the passenger, identified as Elliott, Courtney. Upon running their information, it was discovered that Vanwinkler had Felony warrants for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and Larceny. Elliot was wanted for Misdemeanor Theft. Both were booked into Montgomery County Jail.
