Market Street Hosts South County 4th of July Parade & Live Music in Central Park

THE WOODLANDS, TX – This Independence Day Market Street is the best place to celebrate our nation’s birthday. Once again Market Street will host the popular 44th Annual South Montgomery County 4th of July Parade - a patriotic tradition featuring marching bands, parade floats and local dignitaries. Additionally, the shopping and entertainment destination will host musician Adrian Michael from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in Central Park.

44th Annual South Montgomery County 4th of July Parade: 9 am

The 44th Annual South Montgomery County Fourth of July Parade kicks off a United We Stand theme led by Grand Marshall and local philanthropist Christine Clinkenbeard of The Woodlands and Grand Marshall Lt. Commander Charles Michael Abell, (retired) U.S. Navy with marching bands, fire engines, horses and floats along with appearances from local dignitaries. The Texas Army National Guard 1-133D Field Artillery, 56th Infantry Brigade Combat Team along with the College Park Marine Corps Junior ROTC and other military families will participate in this year’s parade. Marching bands include students from Willis High School and Hempstead High School. More than 8,000 guests who will line the streets and enjoy the parade, which makes its way through Market Street and concludes at 10:30 am. For additional details visit www.4thofjuly.org.

Live music from Adrian Michael: 6:00 – 8:00 pm in Central Park

Acoustic guitar tunes from musician Adrian Michael will entertain guests in Central Park from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on July 4. Families are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the concert.
