Suspect Tells Victim 'I'm Going to Shoot You,' Then Does

HOUSTON, TX - Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Major Assaults Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an Aggravated Assault – Deadly Weapon.

On Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at approximately 3:40 p.m., the victim was shot in a park located in the 6800 block of Harbor Town Drive in Houston, Texas. During the incident, the Hispanic male suspect was standing under a light pole near the basketball court in the park with two other Hispanic males. The suspect approached the victim and stated “I am going to shoot you”. Next, the suspect pulled out a black pistol and pointed the firearm at the victim’s head. The suspect discharged the firearm three times, shooting the victim in the jaw. The suspect then fled the scene on foot towards Bellaire Boulevard. The victim was taken to a local hospital and treated for the injuries sustained during the assault.

Suspect Description: Hispanic male, 18 - 25 years old, 5'10', 180 to 200 lbs., short beard, wearing a black hooded jacket.
