Find Whatever Floats Your Boat at Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures this July

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures at Grand Texas is excited to invite the community to join in on thrilling Fourth of July celebrations, grand charity initiatives involving rubber duck races and a stuff-your-face hot dog eating contest throughout the month of July!

Join in on cool celebrations, contests and charity events as the summer heats up


As the temperature increases, so does the fun. New slides and attractions will continue to open throughout the month – pay special attention to social media and the website for real-time updates.

The park is also offering firecracker-hot season pass incentives for existing season pass holders and new season pass purchases beginning July 1.

July Events:

7/4 – 7/7: Independence Celebration
Come celebrate America at Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures. The park’s Independence Celebration includes live music, food specials and fun patriotic activities.

7/13 & 7/23: Big Rivers Duck Race for Mission Northeast
Visitors can buy a duck for just $5 and race around the lazy river for a good cause. All proceeds from the purchase go to Mission Northeast charity. The winning duck receives a free season pass! Please check website for timing.

7/17: National Hot Dog Day
Who is hungry? Get your red, white and barbecue on with a hot dog eating contest for adults, teens and kids. If that doesn’t float the boat, $1 hot dogs all day at the park will be sure to keep the excitement going.

Season Pass Incentives:
Existing season pass holders will receive 50 percent off price of each aerial activity until the end of the 2019 season. In addition, all current season pass holders will receive free access to the Cougar Climb until the end of the 2019 season. Guests must show season pass at the gear shack and register for a time slot between noon and 5 p.m.

New season pass purchases made in July will receive the “Extreme Thrill Combo” package with the purchase of each season pass (Valued $49.99) Guests will be issued a punch card at Guest Services for six elements including, the Eagle Challenge, Racoon Run, Vulture’s Dive, Hawk’s Glide, Falcon’s Flight and Cougar Climb punched at the gear shack, valid through the 2019 season. Additionally, new season pass holders will receive 50 percent off the price of each aerial activity and free access to the Cougar Climb until the end of the 2019 season.
