Missing Houston Man Found Alive After Stranded In Car For Five Days

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Texas Equusearch releases the following statement on Jose Velazquez from Houston, Tx.

We are very happy to announce that 32 year-old Jose Velazquez has been found alive, and he is now receiving medical attention for his multiple car wreck injuries. Though he has multiple serious injuries; they are not thought to be life threatening, and it is thought that he will survive. Jose was badly injured and trapped in the woods for five days without food or water. Thankfully, he has been found alive, and we hope he will now have the opportunity to live another day, and many more years.

The Texas EquuSearch members that were there looking for Jose did a superb job, and you can also be very proud of yourselves. We would also like to recognize and thank Houston Police Department Missing Persons Investigator Danny Do for his quick, professional and diligent efforts to find Jose.

Original Post: A short while ago, MCHD EMS and Firefighters from The Woodlands were dispatched to a search and rescue command post near FM 1488 and SH 242.

“FOUND ALIVE: Jose Velazquez - Houston, Texas (6/26/19)

We're happy to say that Jose Velasquez has been found alive with and is being treated for injuries sustained in a car accident. We would like to wish him a speedy recovery and thank everyone who came out to help search for Jose today.
